Garmin 1490

I’ve been really enjoying my new Garmin 1490. The larger screen size is really a plus and I enjoy the lane guidance feature. Great product especially with the lifetime traffic and updates.

This unit replaced a clunky old GPS by another manufacturer that I’d had for about five years but was beginning to fail. We’ve taken our Garmin 1490 on the couple of road trips over the last month. I am so glad I made the switch, and i’m really astounded by the performance and ease-of-use of the unit.

This is my 4th Garmin of the model. I have had other Garmins before, but this is actually the best Garmin 1490. It has unlimited map downloads. I have already downloaded an update and also have just had it a couple weeks. The traffic is very good, too. Should you be looking for any Garmin having a big screen, traffic, and lifetime map updates, this is actually the one for you. The map updates alone are worth the cost of the unit.
